Direct to garment printing is produced using an ink jet printer. The garment is loaded onto a bed, ensuring the position is correct first, and the design is printed straight to the garment from the print head. This is ideal for multicolour and high-quality designs. The limitations for this method are that the best image results are on that of 100% cotton fabric, although there are some apparel brands that supply some suitable poly/cotton blends. The ink sinks straight into the fabric and become part of the shirt, with no chance for the design to crack, peel or wash away over time.
Best for: All Quantities.
100 % ring spun cotton garments or high cotton blends.
