About Us

Elite Threads is a family run business, originally started in 1987 by Bill Brentnall, who began to supply local sheet metal engineers with precision screen printing.

Bill started his printing career at the age of just 16. His knowledge of silk screen printing continued to grow as he explored different angles of the industry. He used this experience to quickly diversify the products and services Elite Threads had to offer which enabled the business to grow, and they were soon supplying businesses all over the UK.

About Us

As Elite Threads continued to grow, Bill recognised a demand for printed clothing within the market. So, he invested in equipment and staff training to begin printing onto garments, and very shortly afterwards our first embroidery machine was installed.

Adam, Bill’s son, started at the company once he had left school and gained hands on experience of each factory department. He learned that new print technology was needed to achieve modern multicolour designs and they decided to invest in digital print machinery. He now runs the company with the help of his sisters, Karen and Kelly – although Bill (now retired), still likes to get involved!
